you give anyone a camera and they think that they are a photographer and they're incredible. seriously.

i've been looking at the webpages and facebook "fan" pages of local photographers lately and all i can say is...

what the hell?!?!

what makes me sad is that these people actually get work. enough to pay their bills? highly doubtable. but still, there are people out there that think this persons photography is great enough to PAY for it.

it's like paying a squirrel to eat nuts. a waste of hard earned money.

is this really what the field has come to? MySpace and facebook photographers thinking their "it"?

maybe i'm going to retire early. this is too damn depressing.

The US is well - busy, busy! My photography is seriously suffering as a result though. Hoping now that I'm done with college finally, I can have more time to get things submitted to here! How've you been?

I'm glad you're allright and yay for more time for photography :D

I've been good, 2 months ago I entered this thing to get a chance to become a concertphotographer for 1,5 month and out of 20+ ppl they needed 5 - and surprise surprise I was one of them...I didn't even wait the decision of the judge, I just went home and they emailed it to me later..so I did that, which was nice. Then I got offered a contract to work for news agency as photojournalist, but I'm still not sure if I'll do it..

And I got dumped by my gf last week..which was not haha nice, if you know what I mean, but as they say, "other and better"...
